|HOMEPAGE - ABOUT|
Fourth generation Tulsans, Sharon King Davis and fifth generation Tulsan, Kelley Davis Chilcoat continue the nearly 50 years of their family tradition. They have created and developed one of the most beautiful shopping centers in Tulsa's KingsPointe Village, an upscale lifestyle center for Northeast Oklahoma.
In 1999 the King Family started construction on the 47,000 square foot Phase One of KingsPointe Village Shopping Center. Phase Two started in 2002 with the demolition of the Holiday Hills Shopping Center adding approximately 70,000 square feet of new retail which was completed in 2004. KingsPointe Village now hosts 34 retail tenants that make up "The New Center of Tulsa".
The 61st and Yale intersection has developed into the major hub of South Tulsa. St. Francis Hospital and Medical Park is located on the Southeast corner. This facility is one of the largest employers in Tulsa with over 3,000 employees at the hospital alone. The Medical Park has just completed a new 5 story medical building including a new five level parking garage and helicopter landing facility alone with a multi-million renovation of the three 11 story medical buildings that house the best doctors in Tulsa.
Across the street from KingsPointe Village on the Southwest corner of the intersection, are the Doubletree Hotel and Warren Office Park. The Office Park has two buildings that contain over 1 million square feet of office space and they are approximately 90% occupied. The 370 room Doubletree Hotel has won numerous awards for their service and has recently concluded a muilti-million dollar renovation. KingsPointe and The Hotel are currently working together for combined community events and promotions for this area since demographically 61st and South Yale is the "New Center of Tulsa".
On the Northeast corner of the intersection is LaFortune County Park, which accommodates city baseball, an 18-hole public golf course, and a 5 mile running track. The park itself is used extensively by the community for reunions, family playtime and batting practice.
From its beginnings at the "edge of Tulsa" to being the demographic center of Tulsa, the King Family looks towards continuing the legacy of quality with The KingsPointe Village Shopping Center.
KingsPointe Village is located on the corner of 61st and Yale in Tulsa, Oklahoma
